The Allyway

Rose started wandering around she sat down in the allyways, she placed her hand on her small dagged and looked up at the inky blackness, she tried to remember what it looked like before but she couldn't.

A hooded figure seemed to be moving along the alleyway. It was obscured by a strange veil of mist, but it was definately there, though for some reason, no footsteps could be heard.

Rose sensed something she stood up sharply and drew her dagger "Whose there she?" she asked.

There was a startled cry of alarm. The figure leapt onto a roof in one smooth jump, and the mist followed her as if she was controlling it. She ran lightly over the roofs. The shape of large wings could be seen on her ankles. She had bare feet. Within seconds, the figure was gone. The night was silent.

Rose blinked, the street was quiet but she knew she'd seen something. Rose flew on to the roof and followed the mist.

A white dog with two tails and tiny white wings emerged like a ghost from one fo the alleyways. She followed Rose accross the roof.
