The Grand Hall

"What!?" Kyra looked suddenly startled.

"We'll be back after we take care of the threat," Aoi gave a little bow to Kyra before running after Liam. The dog had fallen asleep under the table.

Liam drew his sword and waited in the shadows outside the door to the castle keeping an eye out for intruders.

Krya nodded.

"It's a male," Aoi told him, concentrating as she tuned in to the clouds she had positioned around the castle. "White flame, heavily armed."

Kiiro, now outside the castle knew that it would be foolish to run straight in. He hide behind a bush, letting the door open with his mind.

Liam listened. "Probably coming for the prisoner" he said to nobody in particular.
Then he glanced around the bushes sensing somebody was there.

"He's hiding from us, Liam! He might strike us..." she paused. "We should guard the doorway in case the person tries to get in!"

"Yeah, you go" he hissed to Aoi, he turned around. "Come out" he teased.

Aoi shrouded herself in mist and stood in front of the door.

Liam looked around. "Come out, I know you've come for your little friend" he teased.

Kiiro looked through a hole in the brushes. He took out a knife, and held it up to his face, before propelling it forwards in the direction of the black flame member with his mind. He scrambled along to another bush.

Liam turned round saw the knife and knocked it out the way with his talons. "Really, to scared to come out and fight yourself" he teased.

Aoi stood nervously in front of the door. Please stay safe, Liam, she prayed in her mind.

Kiiro stood up, brushing himself down. *Your not worth fighting* His voice rang out in Liam's head

"Oh, yes I am" Liam hissed, "Come out and dance" he spat at the bushes.

Aoi, shrouded in her misty disguise, began hardening the water vapour in the air around Liam to create a solid shield.

Kiiro paused for a second, listening to the black flame member's thoughts. He stepped out of the bushes and started walking towards the castle, ready to push aside anyone whoo got in his way with his mind.

Liam ran towards Kiiro weilding his sword and he struck down.

Aoi narrowed her eyes. He's reading our thoughts. She shut off her mind and stopped herself from thinking anything while increasing the mist around the door to mask her presence.

"Aoi, dungeon, now" Liam hissed. He ran blocking Kiiro.

Kiiro knew everything Liam was going to do beforehand, by reading his mind. He managed to unsheath his weapon and block the strike, it only grazing the edge of his skin. He punched his opnant in the stomach.

Liam was worried, this person could sense his strikes, his sword striked down again.

Kiiro blocked it, then brought his own sword round in an arc.

Liam dodged the sword and bought his sword down and at the same time lunged forwards with his talons.
