The Grand Hall

"Great. In the dungeons?" Kyra questioned, taking her eyes off the cat.

Liam nodded and drew his sword, "Shall we go?" and Liam again entered the dungeon.

Kyra spot a glance back at the cat and nodded.

Liam walked out of the dungeons. "He got away" he muttered. "With the prisoner"

Kyra stomped her foot

"I know" Liam hissed glaring at the floor. "We can't let her blab about anything she's seen here, we have to find her"

"We do" Kyra replied icyly

"I have any idea, it might work" Liam said walking over to Kyra and sitting down.

"Hm? I'm the one with the mind" Kyra joked sarcastically

Liam smiled. "Well, when I stabbed that girl I gave her a slow acting poison, soon I guess they'll have to take her to the lab in the mountains which is when we can take it, to birds with one stone"

A white, winged wolf with two tails sidled out from one of the tables.

Aoi had sat quietly yet patiently through the conversation, wrapped in her mist, feet not able to touch the ground due to the height of the chair. At the mention of the lab her eyes went cold.
"We go and we kill all who are there?" she suggested.

"Well we need to wait for them to be there" Liam added. "Your enthusiastic Aoi" he remarked.

The mist around her evaporated and she pulled her hood down. In her left hand, she had taken her silver knife from her belt and was clutching it tightly. She nodded but said nothing.

Liam started at her eyebrows raised, "You can get a bigger knife if you want" he smiled

"I-I don't think I'm ready, and-" she broke off, her eyes wide. She remembered Liam calling her weak. She remembered her parents lying in front of her, dead. She forced herself into a cold frame of mind. She took a deep breath.
"Forget that. A bigger knife would be great. Where can I get it from?" she half-growled in a strangely icy manner.

"Finally" he smiled to himself, he turned to Aoi, "Just go to the Armoury" he said to her.

She nodded. Instead of fleeing and running off, she forced herself to walk from the room.

A few moments later, there was a loud banging from the great doors.

"What's got into her" Liam said to nobody in particular before following her.

The banging on the front doors continued. Someone was trying to get in.
"HELLOOO?" a muffled voice sounded. "If there's anyone there, open up!"

Liam turned round and shouted back. "No, who are you?" he spat.

"Uhh... someone hostilely unhostile?" the voice mumbled back, seemingly unsure of what it was on about. "Anyways, can I come in? Pleeeease? I don't want to have to destroy the poor door and all that, kay?"

"Yeah, like you can defeat us" Liam shouted back "The prisoners gone, if that's what your looking for"

"What prisoner?" asked the voice, confused. "I'm not from the government or anything or something like that. Anyways, if you're not opening up, you'll have to find someone who can fit you a new door."
The door fizzed and cracked with electricity before it exploded with a loud bang.

Liam drew his sword at the sight of the new guest. "Who are you?" he hissed sword at thier throat.

"Hey!" yelped the owner of the voice. Something bit Liam and pulled him away.
As the smoke cleared, and the owner of the voice regained her balance, she turned out to be a girl with short golden brown hair, amber eyes and... floppy golden retriever ears. She was accompanyed by a large wolf-sized ginger dog covered in black tiger striped.
"Tah-daah!" laughed Sygnal, looking down at Liam and grinning before walking further into the room. "I'm an intruder!"
